This week, the Archdiocese of Louisville and Trinity have celebrated Catholic Schools Week.

Today, Friday, Feb. 3, is National Appreciation Day for Catholic School Teachers. This nationwide celebration honors more than 160,000 Catholic school teachers who give time, energy and care to their students. The Catholic identity of the school resides within each member of the faculty.

A school is Catholic because the faculty models the message of the Gospel. A school is Catholic because the faculty integrates gospel values into the content it teaches. A school is Catholic because the faculty challenges students to accept the call of the Gospel.

A visitor entering Trinity High School should know immediately that this institution is entirely different from any other school because of our Catholic faith, academics and service.

Take a moment today to show your gratitude and say “thank you” to a Catholic school or Trinity teacher for their service and dedication. Let them know that, Together As One, they do make a difference! Trinity High School teachers: Faith. Academics. Service.
